LudwiRedlich sterling silver centerpiece bowl from the early 1890s with a pierced rim adorned with floral motifs and in Art Nouveau style. It measures 12 7/8'' in diameter (inner diameter 7 7/8'') by 3 1/4'' in height, weighs 26 troy ounces, and bears hallmarks and a monogram as shown.

Redlich was a New York-based silversmith. Its origin dates back to 1890 as Ludwig, Reidlich & Co.; it was formed by Adolph Ludwig, former designer at Shiebler, and A. Alec Redlich, a diamond dealer. Ludwig left the company in 1895 and it became Redlich & Co in 1895. It was purchased by Elgin Silversmith Co in 1946.
